Horse presented with previous abscess and quarter crack with white lie disease, which was likely from the crack not being addressedQuarter resected, removing all infected laminae, shod with shoe and pad, with Equithane filled to rim at shoe to help distribute weight bearing and ease pressure on hoof wallFoot prepped and ready for glue and fiberglass, ZSP putty on base to prevent seepage of glueFoot filled. No sensitive tissue exposed so horse can get back to regular routine. The shoe is fit with an Equithane pour-in pad to equalize static and active hoof capsule pressure.
Case 2: Quarter Crack
