Case 1: Chronic Laminitis with Flat Soles

Shoe is an extra wide web aluminum, toe is rolled and radically concaved on the bearing surface for zero sole pressure in the toe; nails are set back away from toe. The pad has Magic Cushion and a modest amount of lambswool for protection and soft resilience. The frog bar is to transfer weight off the wall. There is ZSP putty that acts as a dam for the Equithane injected into the bar for fuller frog contact.

Leaving as much sole in toe area as feasible.
Extra concaved wide webbed aluminum shoe, floating the toe area, packed with magic cushion in the sole for pain relief and sole toughening with a frog support pad to transfer the weight to the rear portion of the hoof.
Front view with the toe pulled back to reduce mechanical tearing of the laminae during breakover phase of the horse’s stride.

Case 2: Chronic Laminitis with Compromised Hoof Wall Integrity

Frontal view: Glue on heart bars, toe pulled back to help reduce break over and exposed diseased laminae for treatment.
Glue on heart bar w/ coverage over toe, which is floated for protection. Gap in toe filled with ZSP, a soft putty-like material.
